The classification of lifting equipment

Lifting equipment is categorized into two main types: metal lifting equipment and synthetic fiber lifting equipment.

Metal Lifting Equipment:Metal lifting equipment includes wire rope slings, chain slings, unhooking devices, lifting hooks, lifting (clamping) pliers, and magnetic lifting devices.

Synthetic Fiber Lifting Equipment:Synthetic fiber lifting equipment consists of ropes and belts made from materials such as nylon, polypropylene, polyester, and high-strength, high-modulus polyethylene fibers.

When selecting lifting equipment, factors such as load size, weight, shape, and lifting method must be considered, along with the coefficient of use mode affected by these factors. Requirements for the ultimate working force must be provided, and considerations for the working environment and type of load are essential.

It is crucial to choose lifting equipment with sufficient capacity and appropriate length to meet usage requirements. When using multiple lifting equipment simultaneously to lift a load, the same type of lifting equipment must be used. The material of flat lifting equipment must not be affected by environmental conditions or the load.

Careful consideration is necessary when selecting accessories or soft lifting lugs to ensure compatibility with the lifting equipment.

Overloading lifting equipment is strictly prohibited. Unmarked lifting equipment must not be used without confirmation.

Regular inspections of lifting equipment assembly components according to assembly requirements are necessary.

Distorted lifting equipment must not be corrected by hammering, and throwing lifting equipment is prohibited.

Avoid pulling or allowing heavy objects to roll on the lifting equipment from below.

Types:According to different connection methods with lifting machinery, lifting equipment is divided into single lug type, double lug type, double pulley group type, and double pulley group guide type.

According to the temperature of the slab being lifted, it is divided into normal temperature type and high-temperature type.
