Shackle: A component used to connect lifting lugs and steel wire ropes, with multiple models available based on different load standards. The shape of the shackle varies slightly under different standards. When selecting a shackle, consideration should be given to whether it can pass through the lifting lug hole and whether the space reserved for the shackle is sufficient for the use of the steel wire rope.
Pallet Jack: It is a type of transportation equipment with various manifestations. Mainly, it uses a hydraulic jack to lift objects, and then achieves the purpose of dragging and transporting by using bottom rollers. The common tonnage for transportation products is one to five tons.
Tank Jack: Here, the tank jack is a variant of the pallet jack. It has a hydraulic jack but does not have a pulling head for dragging and requires an external pulling. The advantage is that it can pull heavier objects, and the size can be customized. However, generally, no swivel casters are set, and it is only used for pulling back and forth.
Chain Hoist: A chain hoist is a simple and convenient manual lifting tool that is carried by hand. It achieves the purpose of moving or lifting objects by manually pulling, through one end connected to the fixed point and the other end connected to the dragged object. Chain hoists come in various tonnages, and models, and are commonly used in engineering projects. Chain hoists have multiple names, such as lever hoist, genie hoist, chain block, and come along.
Lifting Strap: In our engineering context, a lifting strap refers to a lifting belt, which is softer than a steel wire rope and is generally made of high-strength polyester filament. Lifting straps can be used to bind and lift objects without damaging them. However, when the lifted object has sharp edges, serious cutting injuries can occur to the lifting strap, so its use is strictly prohibited.
